Jessica Lewis and Austin Wenner Death | Jessica Lewis and Austin Wenner Obituary – The bodies of 35 year old Jessica Lewis and 27 year old Austin Wenner were found inside bags that washed ashore along West Seattle in June. According to HLN on the 2nd of July 2020, The King County Medical Examiner ruled that Jessica Lewis had been shot multiple times, and that Austin Wenner had been shot in the torso. The examiner ruled both deaths as homicides and gave June 16 as the date of their deaths.
The remains were found near the water at the Duwamish Head in West Seattle on the 19th of June after police were alerted of a suspicious bag with a foul odor. Police found an initial bag on the beach and noticed another in the water so they widened their search. Detectives say they do not believe this case is connected to any investigations in the Puget Sound area. Investigations are still on going.
