Joanne Gowan Death – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have released the identity of the man who died after a fatal crash on Sunday, August 16 on Ritchance Road, just east of Blue Corner Road, as 54-year-old Joanne Gowan, of Alfred-Plantagenet.
The Provincial police, alongside Champlain Township firefighters and Prescott-Russell paramedics responded to the scene after the report of the fatality. Gowan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Gowan’s car left the roadway and went into a ditch.
The police is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the police.
Investigation is still ongoing.
