Joe Wong Death | Obituary – Joe Wong sadly passed away, he was born in Hong Kong on March 16, 1963. He was a family man who worked several jobs to provide for them, including working as a Systems Analyst at the DMV and security at Golden 1. He is survived by his wife Sara Le-Wong, his two children Jonathan and Megan, his mother WanChun Wong, and his sister Tina Wong-Yuan.
Joe was a proud American citizen who volunteered at the Rocklin PD any chance he could get. He had a talent for comforting those in need, keeping his cool in chaos, and fixing problems with no solutions. He was known for his mischievous smile and full-bellied laugh. Joe enjoyed hiding fake bugs around or on his loved ones. He also showed his love for others by hiding behind wall corners and jumping out to scare them or tapping on their shoulders then running away to hide.
He adored his family and guided everyone to be the best version of themselves. He had the patience to help teach us all how to be a better person and how to use the newest tech gadget. He always kept his family and friends close to his heart, often reaching out to them at the perfect time of need.
Regardless of all the jobs, Joe had or how crazy his schedule was, his favorite job was being a dad. He was there for every moment of fun with the kids, including letting Megan paint his nails and teaching Jonathan how to drive. Joe was the best dad. He always encouraged the kids to follow their interests and dreams. He will forever be Jonathan and Megan’s number one supporter. He did it all side-by-side with his loving wife Sara. Joe never complained about his endless “honey-do” list Sara always had for him. Rest while you can Joe, Sara is still adding to that list.
Funeral Arrangement
Celebration of Life for Joe will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 6pm-8pm Contact Sara’s sister Emma or Rory rather than Sara for details and any info. Please wear face coverings and practice social distancing when visiting the Wong Family.
