Joey Wayne Nelson Passed Away | Cause Of Death
Joey Wayne Nelson died March 14, 2020 following fatal vehicle crash that took place on Alabama 120 near Pearson Road, only a short distance from Reeltown High School, and about 10 miles west of Notasulga, said police.
Joey Wayne Nelson passed away Saturday at about 11:53 p.m in accident. He passed on at the age of 52 from injuries sustained in a crash, report said.
Wayne was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer on the road, when for reasons unknown, he lost control of the vehicle, it ran off the roadway, flipped on it side, the impact of the crash made the vehicle to turned multiple times and he was thrown from the Chevrolet. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
