John Roche, Jr. Death – The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified an Oak Lawn man who died after being struck by an SUV on Saturday evening, as 21-year-old John Roche, Jr.
Roche lived in the 11000 block of South Keeler Avenue.

The ugly incident occurred in the 11100 block of South Pulaski Avenue before July 11th midnight.
According to Chicago police, a 2015 Honda SUV was traveling southbound on Pulaski when Roche stepped into the street and was hit.
The driver of the SUV cooperated by remaining at the scene.
Roche was pronounced dead at the scene and no other injury was reported.
Due to the multiple injuries the victim sustained from being hit by a vehicle, Roche’s death was ruled an accident by the Cook County Medical Examiner.
The police says no citation has been issued and alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
The investigation is ongoing and being handled by the CPD Major Accidents.
