Jose Moreno Death – The authorities on Tuesday, July 14, have identified the victim of the early Saturday shooting as 31-year-old Jose Moreno, of Schenectady.
According to police statement, Moreno was shot to death at Grand Street and Ash Grove.

At a bout 3:15 a.m on Saturday, July 11, the police responded to the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they found Moreno shot in his torso, says the police.
The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center by the paramedics, where he was later pronounced dead. He died of his gun shot injuries.
This is the 5th homicide in Albany since June.
Following investigations, the police have made one arrest.
Although a suspect is in custody, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office and state police have assigned extra personnel to Albany to try to curb the violence.
