Jose Pinales Death | Obituary – Jose Pinales who was the father of Misty Diaz, a popular street runner and adaptive athlete with spina bifida sadly passed away on July 15 from complications with the virus.
Misty Diaz said 17 of his father were diagnosed with COVID-19 at the end of June. He thought he might recover at home, then found out he was hospitalized.
“It’s a 16-day roller coaster,” he said. “The amazing front line crew would just tell us it was good, it was developing and then it would be a really bad day.”
Diaz says his father’s doctors and nurses are with him every step of the way, and he doesn’t suffer“We not only care for a patient with medication, but we also have to offer his loved ones because they can’t be there,” said respiratory therapist Tyler Phelps.
“We’ll be there with them until we take their last breath.”“Diaz says his father did an incredible job of raising him and his two other children. He says he wants people to take COVID-19 seriously because anyone can get infected.”
We are never ready to say goodbye forever even though we know it is a part of life. This day our hearts are heavy for losing someone so special, but as we mourn your death, we also celebrate your life. Rest in peace.
It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is. I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever. I promise to keep you alive in my memories.
