Julie Dimperio Holowach Death – A resident of New York City who was killed in a shark attack off the state’s coast on Monday, July 27, has been identified by the Authorities in Maine as Julie Dimperio Holowach,63.

This release was made on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

According to the Maine Department of Marine Resources, Holowach died of the shark bite on Monday. Holowach was fatally bitten by the shark off Bailey Island while she was swimming.

In a statement, the marine patrol said a witness reports that Holowach was seen swimming off the shore of Bailey Island when she was bitten. she was helped by two kayakers to the shore and an ambulance provided further assistance, but she later succumbed to her injuries, the marine patrol said.

According to Jeff Cooper, co-owner H2Outfitters on the island, which offers instruction, rentals and sales of kayaks said the shark attack occurred about 30 to 40 feet (9 to 12 meters) offshore, and the rescuers were a man and woman in a rented tandem kayak.

“The kayakers were on the shore when one of them saw something breach, and realized something was wrong,” says Cooper.

“They happened to be right there at the scene. They were courageous enough to jump in and retrieve the victim,” Cooper continues.

The Maine Marine Patrol is handling the investigation at the moment.
