June Graham Death | June Graham Obituary – June Graham passed away peacefully June was a local Bangor woman, June worked 41 years in the drapery business having supplied drapery for some of Northern Ireland’s top celebrities, and big players in the local hospitality industry.
June always maintained that her zest for life and determination helped her to come to terms with her diagnosis. She recognized how the right home environment would help her to stay safe, physically active, and in better touch with friends and family whilst remaining integrated within her local community. In recent years she had moved with husband Roy to a more enabling environment that would promote her and Roy’s independence.
Despite her diagnosis, June was determined to live life to the full. An active member of Dementia NI, she was loved by all because of her positive attitude and witty sense of humor.
June maintained that she was very honest with family and friends about her dementia, and never tried to hide it. She wanted to make sure people knew about dementia and how they can best support her and others living with the symptoms.
