Karl Gander Death – The identity of the man who drowned to death on Saturday, August 15 in the Memarec River has been released by the Crawford County Sheriff’s department as 36-year-old Karl Gander.

According to the police, Gander was found around 3.05 p.m on Saturday in the Memarec River which is 5 miles south of Bourbon, Missouri.

Official report states that Gander was found by nearby floaters who pulled him out from the river and administered first aid on him before taking him to emergency personnel in their boat.

All effort to resuscitate him all proved futile.

Gander was pronounced dead by the Crawford County coroner.
