Dendulk, 30, of Royersford; a construction worker was struck and killed by a vehicle driving in a lane closed to traffic on a Pennsylvania highway. Kevin was pronounced dead at 2:05 a.m. at the scene on Interstate 81 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania State Police at Hazleton said in a news release.

According to police reports, the crash occurred about 1:15 a.m. at mile-marker 142.3 of I-81 North in Hazle Township, as a gray Hyundai Accent was being driven in the right lane that was closed for overnight construction work. Kevin was working in the right lane when he was struck by the car, which didn’t stop and instead continued north, police said. In review of the post made by Fox29 Philadelphia, the Hyundai will have damage to its passenger side and front end, including a missing passenger side mirror and missing passenger side window glass, and possibly headlight, hood and windshield damage, according to the release.
