Two Brothers Found Dead – Kevin George Jr., 21, of Philadelphia, and Zion George, 20, of Tennessee were found dead after they got swept away in the Murderkill River during a swimming trip on Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 2020.
According to the Delaware State Police, they began searching for the two brothers immediately they got the call on their disappearance at about 2:59pm.

It was reported that the brothers traveled to the Murderkill River for a day trip with a 20-year-old Philadelphia woman and a 20-year-old Philadelphia man.
According to the police report, the three men got in the Delaware Bay during low tide, but unfortunately the tide changed while they were in the water, and the current pulled all three of them into the Murderkill River.
The swimmers were rescued by a local assistant fire chief who was fishing in the are with his cousin. The fire chief rescued the 20-year-old man, as well as the 20-year-old woman after she went in to try to help the brothers.
Search efforts were suspended by 9:00pm when the first responders couldn’t find the brothers.
This search turned into a recovery mission Wednesday morning and later Kevin George was found dead in the river at about 10:30 a.m., and Zion George was found dead shortly after in the same general area.
