Kobe Bryant Passed Away | Cause Of Death:
Kobe Bryant died 26 January, 2020 following fatal vehicle accident that happened near Calabasas, California, said report.
Kobe Bryant passed away Sunday morning in aircraft accident. He passed on at the age of 41, said report.
Bryant was traveling in a helicopter, when for reasons unknown, the pilot lost control of it and crashed into a steep hill. Bryant was severely injured and unresponsive after the impact of the crash, he was pronounced dead at the scene, said report.
Kobe is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He played twenty years for the LA Lakers and had assisted the Lakers to win, the National Basketball Association (NBA) championships five times.
He was a superb, talented player and was also among those, who represented the US basketball team in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games, where they won gold medals both times.
He retired in 2016 and in 2018, he was nominated for an Oscar for a short animation, which was based on a letter he wrote called ‘Dear Basketball’ and won the award for it.
For twenty years he played for the LA Lakers. The team is based in Los Angeles, California and it’s one of the top basketball teams in the United States.
Tributes have been poured out to the great basketball player.
The president of United of America, Donald Trump also was also saddened by the news as he wrote on his twitter handle:
“Kobe Bryant, despite being one of the true great basketball players of all time, was just getting started in life. He loved his family so much, and had such strong passion for the future. The lose of his beautiful daughter, Gianna, makes this moment even more devastating”
The former president of the United of America, Barack Obama also paid his last respect to the player:
“Kobe was a legend on the court and was just getting started in what would have been just as meaningful a second act. To lose Gianna is even more heartbreaking to us as parents. Michelle and I send love and prayers to Vanessa and the entire Bryant family on an unthinkable day.”
All time award winning entertainer and fashion mogul, Kanye West also expressed his grief and paid condolences to Bryant and his family in a statement below:
“Kobe, We love you brother… We’re praying for your family and appreciate the life you’ve lived and all the inspiration you gave”
The causes leading to the crash remains under investigation.
