Kris Blakeston died of cancer at the age of 40. He was an Academy Coach at Hullcity.
So shocked by the very sad news of @krisblakeston passing away today.
One of the best, most enthusiastic coaches I worked with in youth football and an unbelievable mate off the pitch.
Thoughts are with all his family and work friends at the academy.
He’ll be hugely missed.— Leigh (@leighpalmer) February 4, 2020
The Hessle Sporting family are extremely sad to hear about the passing of Kris Blakeston.
Kris has been a key member of the Hull City development centre and a great advocate for grass roots football for many years. He will be sorely missed.
