Kristin Strauss Death / Obituary – According to a press report, the co-owner of wild bear lodge, Kristin Strauss died on February 17, 2020, Kristin was pronounced dead after an unidentified cause of death.
Kristin Strauss passed away leaving loved ones in total sadness, Kristin Strauss death has caused so much heartbreak to the beloved family. We are yet to observed the deceased cause of death and obituary.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Kristin Strauss, co-owner of Wild Bear Lodge (formerly Grizzly Bear Ranch). Our hearts go out to her husband, Julius, we can’t imagine how difficult this must be for him–and her closest friends.We feel fortunate to have spent time with Kristin, having recently travelled to the lodge this past summer, and thought of her as a friend.Together Kristin and Julius were instrumental in the fight to end the Grizzly Bear Trophy Hunt in British Columbia, and their bear viewing experience–in the heart of the Kootenays–is an important model for the expansion of grizzly bear viewing across the province.Kristin moved through this life with such grace and good humour and will be deeply missed.After watching Ben Fogle tonight and seeing and listening to the lives of Kristen and julias and what they have been through and then to find happiness doing something they both loved through sheer hard work and passion. My husband and I were just saying How wonderful it was That Julia’s and Kristen had found each other. We are so sad to hear what has happened and our heart goes out to julias and all her family and friends.

I’ve watched Ben Fogle tonight and was really upset to hear about Kristin. I live in England in the Midlands and have followed the banning of hunting of many of our beautiful creatures. I have a live of black bears but all animals have a right to foam their own habitat without the fear of hunters and poachers. I have signed petitions for the banning of near hunting and was thrilled to hear it has been stopped. Julius, yourself and Kristin did such great work and you were a lovely couple. My thoughts go out to you and the family. She leaves behind a legacy and that is something to be proud of. I’m sure you will miss her very much and I send you my love and heart felt thoughts. I watched Ben Fogle this evening with such interest to see how a beautiful corageous couple step away from a comfort zone to a life that gave love & true meaning.To hear she had passed away I had to then turn off the T.V. You will be watching over your husband whilst he carries out protecting the bears & you have made an impact on me personally.RIP lovely lady

How tragic and immensely sad that Kristin has died so young . She was beautiful, intelligent,courageous and compassionate. I hope that her strength and love will help Julius carry on and continue his work. His idea to help and support soldiers with PTSD will also hopefully bring him comfort. Sending Love to Kristin’s family and friends, the world has lost a very special person.

can’t believe I just watched Ben Fogles programme and was only just saying to.my hubby what an amazing well suited couple. What an amazing job they have done with the ban on killing bears. What a beautiful place they have made and such thoughtful idea of helping others With PTSD. I was so upset at the end of the programme to hear Kristins death! So sad and sending so much love to her family and Julius xxx
Such awful news about Kristin’s passing, after two amazing programmes sharing the wonderful, selfless work and amazing impact that both Julius and Kristin have had. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on. Sending condolences and love to Kristin and Julius’ families.
I have just watched and very much enjoyed Ben Fogle’s programme with Julius and Kristin. This was so saddened by the announcement at the end of Kristin’s passing, how Julius must be feeling is beyond comprehension, they were so happy together.Condolences to Julius.
