Laura Loge Death – The officials have confirmed and released the identity of a Fridley woman who died after a motorcycle crash in Carver County on Sunday, August 2, as 48-year-old Laura Loge.

Official report says Loge was traveling south on County Road 40 near 188th Street Sunday when she apparently lost control of her motorcycle. She veered off the road into a ditch, and hit a power line utility pole.

At 3.23 p.m on Sunday, the Carver County sheriff’s office received a call on an accident and responded to the crash scene. Upon their arrival, they found a motorcyclist who was injured from the crash.

Loge was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation and being handled by the Carver County sheriff’s office, assisted by Minnesota State Patrol, Ridgeview Ambulance, Belle Plaine Fire Department and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
