Lavern C. Hamre died January 29, 2020 following ghastly vehicle crash that took place in the 4000 Block of Grand Avenue, near the Walgreens store west of Walmart, said police.
Lavern C. Hamre passed away Wednesday at about 3 p.m in accident, He passed on at the age of 84, said police.
Hamre was operating a 2005 Lincoln Town Car eastbound on the road, when for reasons unknown, he lost control of the vehicle, swerved into the westbound lanes, where he hit the rear driver-side door area of a 2000 Honda Accord, that was headed westbound, the vehicle kept moving down the road and almost struck a 2003 GMC box van head-on. He was severely injured at the spot and he was pronounced dead at the scene, said report.
The accident remains under investigation.
