Lawrence Chelin Death | Lawrence Chelin Obituary – The world has lost an icon by the name; Lawrence Chelin. He was a South African football legend that died when the world needed him the most. Lawrence played for Arcadia Shepherds‚ Durban United and Durban City in the 1970s and 1980s.
Lawrence also played for the Atlanta Chiefs in the North American Soccer League and was recognised as one of the most skillful left midfielders to have graced South African football fields. He died of leukaemia on Tuesday, 23rd of June 2020.
