Lisa Renee Green Death – The Blount Conty Sheriff on Wednesday, August 19 confirmed the identity of the woman who was killed on Wednesday, after a fatal crash n the portion of U.S. Highway 129 in Blount County known as “The Dragon,” as 44-year-old Lisa Renee Green, of Clanton, Alabama.
Police report says Green was driving a motorcycle Trike on “The Dragon” (U.S. Highway 129), a popular scenic roadway in East Tennessee before the crash that took her life.

Preliminary investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit reports that after 3. p.m on Wednesday, the deputies responded to the scene after receiving the report of a crash on mile marker 4.3 on the stretch of U.S. Highway 129 known as The Dragon. Upon their arrival they discovered that Green was riding north on The Dragon and as she initiated a right curve she looked away from the road briefly and rode into a ditch on the left side of the roadway; as the Trike came out of the ditch, she over-corrected, which caused the Trike to turn over onto the roadway.
Green was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical personnel with AMR Ambulance Service, says the BCSO.
A passenger riding with her identified as Amos Tallent, 42, of Ellejay, Ga. was transported by Rural Metro Ambulance Service to Blount Memorial Hospital where he is being treated and stable.
The investigation is still ongoing by the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit.
