A woman and her pregnant daughter were reportedly stabbed to death by the woman’s husband after he found messages between his wife and an ex-boyfriend.
The woman is identified as 38-year-old Lorice Gathers and the 22-year-old Shanique Hills. They were fatally stabbed by the woman’s husband named Anthony Lamar Gathers II.
Anthony is Shanique Hills stepfather. According to investigators, Anthony murdered both women at a home in Goose Creek.
Anthony was charged with two counts of murder, two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and one count of death or injury of child in utero due to commission of a violent crime.
