Lou Schwechheimer Death | Lou Schwechheimer Obituary – Longtime MiLB owner Lou Schwechheimer has died. Schwechheimer passed away due to Corona Virus complications in July 2020 at the age of 62. He was the reason for the return of Wichita and construction of Riverfront stadium.

Schwechheimer spent 35 years with pawtucket Red Sox turning them into elite minor league baseball franchises. He created a group that purchased two minor leagues teams. Lou Schwechheimer was currently the owner of the new AAA club in Wichita. We extend our condolences.
