Malachi Capers Shot and in Critical Condition – Surveillance video shows a fight at a deli that led to the shooting of Malachi Capers on Tuesday, 28th of July 2020 in Queens.
The shooter has not been found yet. Video appears to show Malachi Capers bump into another man inside 136 Deli and Grill on Springfield Boulevard in Laurelton. According to Spectrum News NY1 report, Moments after, Capers is punched in the face.
The fight spilled onto the sidewalk, and that’s when Capers was shot in the stomach. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Authorities have identified the gunman as Jeffrey Thurston.
