Malik Hall Death – The identity of the man who was shot and killed on Wednesday, July 29, during a shootout at the Evergreen Plaza Inn in Metairie has been identified as Malik Hall, 23 whose last known address was Kenner, says the authorities.

According to the police report, the Sheriff’s office received a 911 call after 6.00 p.m on Wednesday of a shooting at the Evergreen, located at 6590 Veterans Memorial Blvd.

Upon the arrival of the deputies, they found Hall suffering from gun shot injuries. He was taken to the University Medical Center in New Orleans where he was later pronounced dead.

Mark Bone, chief death investigator with the Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office, the autopsy release states that Hall died of gun shot injuries.

Deputies arrived and found Hall wounded. The unidentified shooter had already fled the scene.
