Port Stephens Crash – According to police reports, a 90-year-old man has died following the two-vehicle crash that happened in Port Stephens involving a white Suzuki Jimmy and white Hino rigid tabletop

The police says, about 4:50pm on Monday, 6th July, the emergency services were dispatched to the Pacific Highway, at the Myall Way intersection in Tea Gardens.

A 90-year-old man who happens to be the driver of the Suzuki, died at the scene, while the 24-year-old driver of the Hino was not injured.

The Hino driver cooperated and participated in the roadside breath test which returned negative. He was later taken to the Mater hospital for a compulsory blood and urine testing

Investigation commenced immediately as to the cause of the crash.

According to the police reports, the Hino driver was transporting two steers at the time this happened, but the animals were not injured.
