Man found shot to death- Hot Springs police are investigating the homicide of a local man who was found shot to death inside his car Saturday morning, police said in a release Monday.
Around 10 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the intersection of Mica and Maiden streets for a welfare check on a car parked there with a man inside.
Upon arrival, they found Tristan Smith, 23, of Hot Springs, in the back seat of the car deceased “from an apparent gunshot wound,” the release states.
“Detectives are currently following up on several leads and interviewing witnesses,” Cpl. Joey Williams, the department’s public information officer, said in the release.
