We are saddened to announce the tragic loss of Marissa “Max” Fernandez, a rising junior at the Louisiana School who passed away yesterday. We offer our deepest condolences to Max’s family, friends, and loved ones. During this time of great loss, we are reminded of the importance of community. We encourage those who feel they may need additional support to work with your families to contact a local counselor or minister, and to reach out to them for any help you may need.
At this time, Max’s family is still working on arrangements, and we will update our community when we are able to do so.
