Jonathan C. Decuir Death | Obituary
Jonathan C. Decuir, a 25-year-old man from Marksville was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident that happened around 1:20 a.m Tuesday morning on Hwy 71 just south of Alexandria.
Jonathan reportedly lost control and exited the left side of the road, colliding with a metal guardrail. Then he exited the right side of the roadway before finally colliding with an overpass support column.
Preliminary investigation determined Decuir was not wearing his seat belt. Routine toxicology tests are pending. Currently, Louisiana State Police believes some form of impairment is suspected.
The crash remains under investigation.
