Marley Grace Wilander was pronounced dead in Naperville, Illinois, at the 17 months old, after she was mauled to death by a pit bull.

”Marley Grace Wilander passed as of July 5th, 2020. She is survived by her two loving parents, Daniel Wilander and Chelsea Cirino. Immediate family includes her uncle Steven, Uncle Michael, Aunty Courtney, Wilander family, Wojcik family, Olson-Graszer family, Coleman-Vanwormer family, Cirino family, and extended family.
Marley was the most beautiful little girl born on January 26, 2019 in Downers Grove, Illinois. After premature concerns, Marley blessed us. From the start this perfect little girl constantly filled the room and hearts of whoever she came into contact with. She never had an obnoxious cry or scream (and when she did, it still sounded as innocent as a noise from a small angel). Marley loved life and everything she was able to experience. Beyond intelligent, intuitive, and calming, this child has so many traits of a wonderful human being and had a big purpose. Marley was not only the whole world and universe of her parents, but a sign that hope, love, innocence, and purity was always more powerful than the negative. I speak for myself as a father of another beautiful girl. I have never met such the epitome of purity and innocence from someone who could barely say two syllable words. Her existence brought so much joy and so much love to so many people during the last two years. The amount of hurt will not change. We are attempting to accept donations of any kind in hopes to make this time of need as easy as possible for a grieving family recovering from a terrible tragedy. Marley loved
swimming, fishing, her parents, her toys, and her friends. We will do everything possible to honor her in every way. Thank you for support of a family in this time of need.As requirements of gofundme I’m expected to provide a few things for all donors knowledge. The organizers of this fund are Benjamin Wright (lifelong friend of father) and Angie Wojcik (sister of father). All funds donated will be used for funeral services and associated costs, help the family with any medical bills accrued and basic monthly expenses during their time of grief. At the conclusion of this fund all donations will be directly deposited into the fathers account for use by Daniel Wilander and Chelsea Cirino as needed.
