Martin Coleman Death – The Chicago police have confirmed the death of a Lawndale man who was shot and killed on Sunday, August 23 in Lawndale on the West Side.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 27-year-old Martin Coleman.
According to official report, Coleman had an altercation with someone around 6.20 a.m on Sunday in the 1800 block of South Komensky Avenue. He was shot to the chest and pelvis during the altercation, says the police.
Coleman was pronounced dead at the Mount Sinai Hospital where he was rushed to for life saving efforts.
So far no one has been arrested and the investigation is still ongoing.
