Martin James Death | Martin James Obituary – Martin James a former editor of @RCIMag has died after suffering from a short illness. Martin James joined the RCI Magazine publication in the early 1980’s, he worked on RCI for 25 years and was a well loved and respected editor. He died in July 2020.
According to news report from RCI, while he was working alongside Mike Pinkney, the RCI’s advertising manager at the time, Martin and Mike were described as the ‘Batman and Robin’ of the publishing world, and quickly became a formidable force together, with Martin’s technical know-how as an editor and Mike’s ‘Arthur Daley’ sales approach, people couldn’t help but love the duo whenever they had the pleasure of meeting them.
