Mederrick Harper Death – The Lubbock Police following investigation has released the name of the victim involved in a late night shooting on Thursday as Mederrick Harper, 43.
The authorities reports that this was not the first time Harper was involved in an investigation that made the news.

Lubbock Police Department responded immediately to a call before midnight on July, 9, to a report of shots fired at 42nd Street and Avenue Q.
Upon their arrival, they located Harper in a serious condition. He was immediately rushed to University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Reports have it that Harper was named a person of interest in an aggravated assault that turned deadly last month.
Although police were able to locate him, he wasn’t arrested for the crime nor was he identified as a suspect publicly.
According to the police, they are searching for a suspect connected to Harper’s death on Thursday.
The LPD said the suspect was the passenger in a dark-colored Chevrolet or GMC extended-cab truck.
