Megan Kirkland Death | Megan Kirkland Obituary – 19 years old Megan Kirkland was shot and killed early Sunday morning, 15th of August 2020 in the 2500 block of Fulwiler Road. A witness said a fight at a late night party led to warning shots and gunfire that killed a Megan Kirkland, Wylie High School graduate. According to a statement made by a 23-year-old man who wished to remain anonymous, the shooting started after a fight broke out. He claims someone fired warning shots in an attempt to stop the fight.
“A guy shot up in the air three times,” said the witness. The witness said he then saw a male from the opposite direction pull out a gun and start shooting. “He shot two times and people started to really panic and pay attention and the third shot he caught Megan,” said the witness. He estimated there were about 70 people at the party. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office is investigating her death.
