Megan Mason Death | Obituary – Megan Mason of Harwood, Boltonaged age 28 on June 25 passed tragically died in her sleep
Family and friends of a 28-year-old youth volunteer have paid tribute to her following her sudden death.
Megan Mason, who volunteered at a number of places in Bolton including St Brendans Nursery, Rita’s Out of School Childcare Service, and Harwood Young People’s Centre, died in her sleep at home in Harwood, on June 25.
Cheryl and Chris McIver, Megan’s mum and dad, led the tributes to her.
Cheryl said: “She was the most beautiful person you could have ever meet. She used to light up the room with her smile.
“We’re immensely proud of her as a family, with all she did and all she achieved. That’s only been reflected more so recently with all the comments we’ve seen. She clearly touched so many more lives than we could have ever imagined.”
Megan was not believed to have any underlying health conditions and her cause of death is currently unknown.
“We’re just in absolute shock,” Chris said.
“Megan was extremely popular with all who knew her and will continue to live on in our hearts and memories forever.
“A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.”
