Police on Tuesday discovered the body of Melvin Riles Jr. 31, who was fatally shot in a Hallandale Beach Home. Riles Jr. body was found around 6:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Northwest Second Avenue, according to police.
Riles Jr. discovery was through an anonymous call that led police to the body in a Hallandale Beach home.
Investigators believe he was killed sometime between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. A reward poster is being circulated in the hopes of generating leads in the case.
Detectives are looking for the shooter and are asking anyone with information about the murder to contact the Hallandale Beach Police Department at 954-457-1400.
Anonymous tips can be given to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 or online at browardcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to an arrest.
