Miami Cyclist Death – On Sunday, 28th June, 2020 at about 7:17am on Arthur Lamb Jr. Road near Virginia Key Beach, two cyclist were involved in a crash with a Miami-Dade Police Department marked vehicle.
This crash resulted to the death of one of the cyclist and leaving the other injured.

According to the police officer in charge, Det. Angel Rodriguez, “The officer involved in this incident is assigned here and regularly patrols the causeway and the surrounding areas, the officer was quite visibly shaken up,”
The crash is still unclear as to whose fault it was, but the two cyclist and police car had a head on. The two cyclist were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, one was in a stable condition and the other critical.
The cyclist in critical condition was pronounced dead by the doctors after arriving the hospital.
Entrance to the park was closed for hours and the Miami-Dade traffic homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
According to Rodriguez “The cause of death will be determined pending the autopsy from the medical examiners office,”
