Obituary: Michael Capone has passed away. He died unexpectedly at the age of 19. His friends and families are so heartbroken and are paying tributes to the late baseball lover and player.
Michael played with Swampscott Nahant Babe Ruth Baseball. He also particpated in Babe Ruth League in 2014 and 2015.
Michael Capone’s cause of death is not made known. A Gofundme account has been opened for his burial expenses. Swampscott paid tribute to Capone on their Facebook page.
“I was heartbroken to hear of the death of Michael Capone at the young age of 19. We knew him from his participation in sports here in Swampscott, including playing in our Babe Ruth League in 2014 and 2015. I was heartened to see that the gofundme page to pay his funeral expenses already exceeds what the family was asking for, and whatever is leftover will be used for a scholarship.
