Michael E. Gebke Passed Away | Cause Of Death:
Michael E. Gebke of Breese died January 25, 2020 following ghastly motor accident that occurred on Illinois 161 near Germantown, said police.
Michael E. Gebke passed away Saturday at about 1 p.m in accident. He passed on at the age of 50, said police.
Gbeke was traveling eastbound in a vehicle, when for reasons unveiled, he lost control of the vehicle and swerved passed the centreline, where he crashed with two westbound cars, he was severely injured and unresponsive at the scene of accident. He was taken to the hosp[ital, where he was pronounced dead, said police.
Michael was a board member of the Greater Carlyle Bowling Association and secretary for the Bartelso Bowl men’s league. He had worked for Outback Video and Receptions by Robin in Breese.
He was an employee at Bartelso Bowling Alley. He also helped Wintermann Auction Service in Carlyle and would often work driving buses for sports teams and party buses.
The factors leading to the crash remains under investigation.
