Mikos Labron Lewis Death – The identity of a man found slain inside a west Birmingham home late Tuesday night has been released as 30-year-old Mikos Labron Lewis, according to Birmingham police and the Jefferson County Coroner’s office. This release was made on Thursday, July 9, 2020.
The officers from West Precinct got a call just before 11:30 p.m., on reports of a person shot and officers were dispatched to a residence in the 5300 block of Court Q.

Upon their arrival, officers found the victim unresponsive and with gun shot wound on the floor inside the residence.
Lewis was pronounced dead at the arrival of the Birmingham Fire and Rescue team at 11:43pm.
This discovery was made by another resident who arrived home.
According to Sgt. Rod Mauldin, details and leads are limited at the time because authorities are not sure about what time the incident happened.
The victim’s slaying is recorded as the 60th homicide this year in Birmingham. Out of these numbers of victim, one have been ruled accidental and 8 ruled justifiable therefore were not deemed as criminal act.
