Abel Munoz, a 41-year-old Mokena man was killed in a single-vehicle accident that happened on Sunday, November 17, at about 6:08 a.m., in the south. Munoz was pronounced dead on the scene.
The accident occurred on the westbound ramp from Lincoln Highway to northbound Illinois Route 394 in Ford Heights, according to Illinois State Police.
He was driving a black Mercedes Benz when he traveled off the roadway to an embankment and was ejected, state police said.
