Jacob Echegoyen Death – Friday, June, 2020, at 5:29pm saw the demise of a motorcyclist. The San Bernardio County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Jacob Echegoyen, a 25-year-old male.
The crash occurred on Highway 395 in Victorville, North of Bear Valley Road and South of La Mesa Road. Rescue personnel and Deputies were swift to respond to the traffic head-on.

Jacob Echegoyen of Victorville was pronounced dead at the scene upon arrival of the personnel at 5:40pm
According to the officials on the investigation, it was revealed that a white Ford pickup truck towing a trailer and a white Honda motorcycle were traveling northbound on Highway 395, traffic was stopped due to an earlier traffic collision further up the highway. “the Ford pickup truck was attempting to make a legal U-turn when the Honda motorcycle collided with the driver side of the pickup truck. The Honda motorcycle was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of traffic while attempting to pass the line of stopped cars.”
As stated by the officers, the Ford pickup driver did not sustain any injuries, he remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Although its been announced that anyone with information or who witnessed the crash should contact the Deputy A. Hylin at the Victorville Police Station at 760-241-2911, it is also believed that drugs and alcohol are not determinant for the crash.
