Samantha Hess, PLANTERS Brand Manager at Kraft Heinz broke the news in a statement. Hess asked fans to tune in to Peanut’s funeral during the 3rd quarter of the Super Bowl to celebrate Peanut’s life.
Mr. Peanut passed away same day Planters’ new Super Bowl pre-game advertisement was released. He was seen driving a NUTmobile with Matt Walsh and Wesley Snipes.
