Murder-Suicide Incident in Ackee Walk | Victim and Suspect Identified – A Murder-suicide is being investigated after a 60 year old fisherman and his 25-year-old girlfriend were found dead last Friday, 31st of July 2020 at a house on Fairdene Avenue in Ackee Walk, St Andrew. The deceased woman has been identified as Kemeisha Solomon of a St Elizabeth address and Chester Fong, who lived at the Ackee Walk premises. Relatives and neighbors are still pretty shocked at the incident. The fire brigade was called to cut open the grille so that investigators could gain access to the inside of the house.
According to news release from TheCleaner, Fong, who was of Chinese decent, is said to have been actively involved in fishing and upholstery. A resident said that Fong met Solomon while she was taking care of his now-deceased mother and that they had been going through “some issues” and were having disagreement shortly before the incident. Police reports are that about 10:30 p.m. last Friday, 31st of July 2020 they were called to the area, where the two bodies, with gunshot wounds, were found inside the house. They theorize that the two had an altercation and a revolver was used to shoot Solomon before Fong turned the weapon on himself.
