Natasha Bateman Death Obituary – Natasha Bateman BBC journalist at the age 32 passed away tragically. Her role for BBC Stories saw her tackle themes including equal opportunities and women’s rights and mentoring, reports the BBC.
The BBC’s Director of News Fran Unsworth said Natasha was a “gifted young journalist” and a “great talent.” Her parents said their daughter had dreamed of working for the BBC.
Paying tribute they said: “From childhood Natasha was fascinated by language and the power of words. In her teenage years she was drawn to the media and to work for the BBC was her dream”.
A graduate of the University of Worcester, Natasha joined BBC Radio West Midlands as a broadcast assistant and later as a broadcast journalist. She went on to produce the breakfast show.
