New Watermelon Road Death – Wednesday, July 29 sadly brought the end of one man who was killed after a two-vehicle collision on New Watermelon Road in north Tuscaloosa, says a police spokesperson.
According to Stephanie Taylor of the Tuscaloosa Police Department, the fatality took place in the area of New Watermelon Road and Lakeridge Court just before McWrights Ferry Road.

One of the victims died at the scene.
Further details about the accident and the deceased were not immediately available.
As police and first responders work the scene, the New Watermelon Road was closed at 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon.
