Actress Nancy Brunning Cause Of Death
New Zealand famous actress, Nancy Brunning is dead. She died on November 16 after a strong battle with cancer. Brunning was diagnosed with cancer in 2010. She battled it for 9 years before she took a rest on Saturday, 16 Nov.
Brunning was best known for her role as nurse Jaki Manu on Shortland Street, she won the Bruce Mason Award a day after her death at the Hannah Playhouse in Wellington on Sunday afternoon.
The prize recognizes the professional success of a playwright, with Hone Kouka, Jo Randerson and Victor Rodger among previous recipients.
