1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Central Topeka Shooting – One person is dead and another is hurt after a shooting in central Topeka. It happened just after 8 p.m. Monday at 1175 SW Clay St.
The person that died was identified as Harry T. Jenkins, 66, of Topeka. Police said the person that was hurt is expected to recover.
Topeka police are still looking for the suspect and haven’t given a description of them.
