South Covington Death – On Tuesday, August 4, 2020 the police arrested a man in connection to a three-vehicle crash that took the life of one person and left seven others in serious conditions.
The fatal crash occurred in south of Covington, at Kent Black Diamond Road and 160th Avenue Southeast, says the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The officers responded to the report of a crash around 8 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they found that two cars were traveling south on Kent Black Diamond Road when another vehicle going north crossed the center line and struck both cars head-on.
One of the drivers heading south, said to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene, says sheriff spokesperson Ryan Abbott.
After preliminary investigation, the northbound driver was arrested under the charge of driving under the influence, says Abbott.
Other occupants of the vehicles, including several children, were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.
Investigation still continues.
