Otoniel Alcatel died December 9, 2019 in a severe vehicle crash that took place on Interstate 71 at Sinclair Road, according to police.
Otoniel Alcatel passed on Monday night in accident, he passed away at the age of 18, according to police.
Otoniel was travelling along with other team mates on the interstate 71, when their car tried to exit a curve ramp but instead their car went straight, swerved off the roadway, rolled several times on air, hit a sign and collided into a building, according to report.
Alcatel was found unconscious and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident, according to police.
Otoniel Alcatel was also a footballer at the Linden McKinley soccer team.
The crash remain under investigation.
