Paul Anthony McDermott Dead At 47:
Barrister and legal commentator died after an illness, according to report. He was a senior counsel and a weekly columnist in the Sunday Times newspaper and also a frequent commentator on legal matters on Tv and other forms of media.
Friends and families of McDermott are mourning his death and some are paying tributes to the late barrister via social media.
Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan said in a tweet that he was deeply saddened to hear of Mr McDermott’s death.
He described him as a very talented barrister, a popular lecturer and an entertaining newspaper columnist who would be greatly missed.
