A 50-year-old man named Pedro Garcia has passed away. He was stabbed to death Thursday morning, November 28, 2019 out of his Phoenix home near 15th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
Suspect in the stabbing death of Garcia is yet to be identified. Pedro Garcia was reportedly stabbed just before 5 a.m., after Garcia went outside to work on his bicycle, Phoenix police spokeswoman Sgt. Maggie Cox said.
A family member found Garcia bleeding moments later and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials were working Thursday morning to determine what led up to the stabbing, the identity of the assailant and a possible motive, Cox said.
